What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Furniture Sales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable customer experiences. You’ll help transform homes by guiding clients to find the perfect bed, robes or furniture to match their style and needs. Your genuine enthusiasm, consultative approach, and growing product expertise will ensure every client feels supported and inspired.

And best of all — there’s no cap on your earnings. Your success directly translates into your income through an attractive, uncapped commission structure.

Job opportunity

Welcome to our esteemed Waltham Cross store. We have a new opportunity in our Home Departments, helping customers add style, comfort and personality to every room in their homes. You will:

• Create a memorable retail experience with the customer service excellence that truly set us apart.
• Assist customers by listening to their needs and advising accordingly, using your excellent product knowledge.
• Maximise sales opportunities, handling cash and card transactions with speed and precision.
• Prepare the sold product in packaging as appropriate, for either the customer to easily transport or to be sent to customers who purchase via our website.
• Collect stock items from our on-site storage area as and when required, which may involve some manual handling and stairs.
• Ensure the shelves are always stocked and our complete range is impeccably displayed.
• Collaborate with and support other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience, including our customer service department with product queries.

Whilst no previous sales experience is necessary, ideally you will be:

• Always Customer Focused: Passionate about people. You will have a natural ability to bond with customers and a desire to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
• An Excellent Communicator: Using your excellent communications skills, you`ll be able to build rapport and establish great relationships with customers and colleagues.

Job Description:

We’re Hiring a Warehouse Porter!

Be the key player behind the scenes — help us keep things moving safely, smoothly, and on time.

At Fishpools, the journey starts in the warehouse — and we make sure every product is handled with care and pride. As our newest Warehouse Porter, you’ll be essential in making sure every item that leaves our warehouse is ready to impress.

We’re looking for one reliable, hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive team. The role follows a Monday to Friday shift pattern, with every second week including a Saturday shift. When a Saturday is worked, you will receive a day off during the week. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with loading and unloading furniture in and out of delivery vehicles
• Move, check, and organise stock in the warehouse
• Inspect items for damage or defects and report any issues promptly
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure accurate dispatches
• Help maintain stock accuracy and follow handling procedures
• Occasionally drive a 3.5T vehicle to deliver goods from the warehouse to our store

What We’re Looking For:

• A dependable team player with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky furniture safely
• Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Full UK driving licence required (to drive a 3.5T vehicle)
• Bendi forklift licence preferred (or willingness to train)
• No experience needed – full training provided!
