Are sheepskin rugs real sheepskin?

The sheepskin rugs at Fishpools are real sheepskin, rather than synthetic alternatives. The collection includes genuine natural hides, meaning variations in colour, texture, shape and size are part of their individual character.

What is the difference between sheepskin and cowhide rugs?

The difference between sheepskin and cowhide rugs is primarily their appearance, texture and natural shape. Sheepskin has a soft, deep wool pile that creates a particularly cosy appearance, while cowhide has a flatter surface and distinctive natural markings.

Where should you put a sheepskin rug?

You can put a sheepskin rug beside a bed, in a living room, beneath or beside an armchair or within a cosy reading area. Smaller sheepskins can also be used decoratively where you want to introduce additional softness and texture.

From order to delivery, everything was seamless. I received clear updates throughout, and the delivery team assembled the furniture and took all packaging away. I've trusted Fishpools for over 50 years - always reliable. One very happy customer!

It’s rare these days, but Fishpools always does exactly what they promise - on time, every time. The quality is excellent, and spending a little more is worth it for the peace of mind you get in return.

Our 2-hour delivery slot was confirmed by 4 pm the day before, followed by a call when the truck was just 30 minutes away. The fitters were friendly, professional, and efficient - even laying down a runner to protect our hall floor. They made sure I was happy before signing and even thanked me for the tea! Highly recommend Fishpools.
