Our Guarantee

At Fishpools, we are committed to offering high-quality furniture that’s built to last. We partner with trusted manufacturers who share our values, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability. 

As part of this commitment, we offer a 10-Year Frame Guarantee and a 3-Year Standard Guarantee across our sofas, furniture, beds & bed frames.  These are in addition to your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.  

Decorative accessories, lighting, wall art, mirrors, and rugs carry a 1-Year manufacturer's guarantee. Some manufacturers may offer an extended guarantee, which may exceed the terms above.

10-Year Frame Guarantee

Covers structural and manufacturing defects in the frame of upholstery. Excludes garden furniture, mattresses, dining chairs, bar stools, benches, cabinet, dining and bedroom furniture. 

3-Year Standard Guarantee

Covers manufacturers' defects in fabrics, leathers, stitching, cushion interiors, mechanisms, electrical parts in all upholstery, dining, living & bedroom furniture, beds, bed frames, mattresses & garden furniture.

Guarantee terms

  • Applies to the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred to another person or address. 
  • Valid from the original delivery or collection date. 
  • Applies to orders placed after 18th July 2025. 
  • Applies to domestic use only within our mainland UK delivery area. 

What’s not covered

Our guarantee does not cover: 

  • General wear and tear, settlement, or failure to follow care instructions. 
  • Accidental or deliberate damage. 
  • Damage caused by body oils, fluids, or cosmetic products. 
  • Natural colour fading (e.g., sun exposure). 
  • Routine maintenance (e.g., tightening hinges, adjusting doors). 
  • Dye transfer, staining, soiling, or misuse of fabric or leather. 
  • Cushion flattening or interior settlement over time. 
  • Consumables such as fuses or bulbs. 

Additional terms

Fishpool reserves the right to: 

  • Use the most cost-effective solution (repair, replace, or refund). 
  • Apply a reasonable usage charge, if applicable. 
  • Limit any claim to the original purchase price. 
  • Replace the item with one of equivalent specification if an identical replacement is unavailable. 

How to make a claim

We may arrange an inspection to assess the issue and confirm the cause before proceeding.

Independent Dispute Resolution 

We are a full member of The Furniture Ombudsman, a government-approved independent body for resolving consumer disputes. We follow their Code of Practice, and their decisions are binding on us. If you're unhappy with the outcome of a guarantee claim, you may be referred to The Furniture Ombudsman for further assistance.
