What is a divan bed with a gel mattress?

A divan bed with a gel mattress is a bed set combining an upholstered divan base with a mattress containing gel-based comfort materials. The gel forms part of the mattress’s comfort system, while the underlying construction provides its main support.

What is the difference between a gel mattress and a memory foam mattress?

The difference between a gel mattress and a memory foam mattress depends on their materials and construction. Memory foam describes a particular type of foam, while gel can be incorporated into foam or used in other comfort layers. A mattress can contain both, so the terms are not mutually exclusive.

How high will my divan bed and gel mattress be?

The height of your divan bed and gel mattress depends on the base, feet or castors, and mattress depth. Use the product measurements to calculate the combined height, checking whether the quoted base height already includes its feet. Consider how easily you can sit down and get up from the finished bed.

From order to delivery, everything was seamless. I received clear updates throughout, and the delivery team assembled the furniture and took all packaging away. I've trusted Fishpools for over 50 years - always reliable. One very happy customer!

It’s rare these days, but Fishpools always does exactly what they promise - on time, every time. The quality is excellent, and spending a little more is worth it for the peace of mind you get in return.

Our 2-hour delivery slot was confirmed by 4 pm the day before, followed by a call when the truck was just 30 minutes away. The fitters were friendly, professional, and efficient - even laying down a runner to protect our hall floor. They made sure I was happy before signing and even thanked me for the tea! Highly recommend Fishpools.
