Adjustable Bed Frames

An adjustable bed frame is a bed incorporating a base with sections that can change position. Depending on the design, these sections raise or lower the upper body, legs or both. The surrounding decorative frame usually remains stationary.

An electric adjustable bed works by using motors to move sections of the mattress-supporting base. You operate these movements using the supplied controls. The available positions and control functions vary, so check the individual model’s specification.

You need a mattress confirmed as suitable for your adjustable bed frame. It must flex with the moving base and meet the manufacturer’s requirements for dimensions, construction and weight. A mattress that fits the frame is not necessarily compatible with its adjustment mechanism.
