In September, Fishpools proudly sponsored Teens Unite’s Discover You! event, which provided teenagers and young adults crucial education, employment and financial guidance as they adapt to their diagnosis.
Held at Samsung HQ in Kings Cross, London, guest speakers from various sectors of education and employment ran workshops from TikTok masterclasses to baking! Fishpools’ very own Gina Kingsland led an excellent workshop discussing the different jobs involved in a small to medium sized businesses and what personalities suit each role!

It was such a privilege to present the Fishpools workshop at the recent Discover You, Teens Unite event. Each person discovered their personality type and the roles that may suit them best, using Fishpools as the example business. It was so inspiring to work with such courageous and positive young people, as they considered their future careers, not to mention great fun!
Over 50 teenagers and your adults living with cancer attended alongside their friends and families, and the event truly succeeded in its aims of encouraging them to grow in confidence, re-discover their self-esteem and think positively about their future without cancer holding them back.
