COVID-19 Important Changes to Deliveries

We would like to let you know about the steps Fishpools is taking during these uncertain times. The health and safety of our customers and employees is a top priority. As COVID-19 continues to impact on our daily lives, we have been closely monitoring the situation and are following the advice of Public Health England.




Contactless Fishpools Delivery Service

Following the recent government announcement, we are now in a position to restart our two person premier delivery service. In line with guidance from the British Retail Consortium we have significantly altered the way in which we process and deliver goods in order to meet strict social distancing measures. Our deliveries will be performed by our highly skilled delivery crew, who will enter your home whilst observing social distancing at all times. All of our delivery drivers will be equipped with personal protection equipment and adhere to a strict hygiene regime.

In advance of your delivery, you will be asked to confirm that no one in your home has symptoms of Covid-19 or is self-isolating. If this is the case, your delivery will be rescheduled for a later time. Prior to your delivery, we will ask you to clear the route into the room of your choice, enabling our crew to quickly and efficiently deliver your new goods. We will also ask you to leave the room whilst we deliver and assemble your new furniture (where required). Once your new goods have been positioned into the room of your choice, our delivery drivers will remove all of the packaging from your home.

Deliveries will be booked on a first come, first served basis and will be carried out on Tuesday - Saturday subject to postcode. For smaller items, we will continue to offer our standard doorstep delivery method as an option.




Contactless Collection from our Distribution Centre

Contactless collections will take place from our distribution centre at John Tate Road, Hertford, SG13 7DT, Tuesdays - Fridays. To avoid queuing and to maintain social distancing, we reiterate that this is a contactless service and we will be unable to load goods into your vehicle. You will receive an allocated collection slot once your goods are in stock and ready for collection. Our store remains closed and we are unable to accept collections from this location.




Parcel Force

We are currently dispatching parcels once a week. After dispatch, this is a Monday - Friday, UK mainland delivery service. You will receive a text message with your tracking details on dispatch. We estimate that in stock goods should be delivered within 10 working days.




OUR DELIVERY CHARGES

Please use our postcode checker for a delivery cost to your home. Our Premier delivery service starts from £49 (£29 for Beds & Mattresses) and is available on all items. Standard delivery is available on smaller goods like chairs, footstools, small chests, rugs and larger decorative accessories including pictures, mirrors and lighting. Small goods, for example bed linen and decorative accessories are delivered via Parcel Force.
