Competitive salary of up to £27,000 based on a 40-hour working week.

Full time, Mon-Fri office-based role in Waltham Cross.

 

Job Opportunity

Welcome to our Finance team, working hard behind the scenes, supporting the wider business at our Head Office based at our prestigious store at Waltham Cross.

This opportunity allows you to develop and embed yourself into the world of finance whilst encompassing a variety of responsibilities as follows:

 

V12 Finance

Our customers can bring their furnishing dreams to reality with our interest free credit offering. You will support these customers from application to payment. You will run reports, call for payment or process any refunds as required. Liaising with the V12 account manager and other Fishpools departments on V12 procedures and queries.

Cash Office

Responsible for the reconciling and management of the cash tills. Processing cash, card, and any other forms of payments. Track transactions issues, reporting any discrepancies. Prepare banking for security collection and manage the petty cash.

Accounts Receivable

Monitor debtor account balances, chase payments and process refunds. Manage payment enquiries, investigate and escalate any issues. Manage payment enquiries, investigate and escalate any issues and assist with daily bank reconciliations. Assist with daily bank reconciliations.

Additional Tasks

  • Daily management of finance inboxes and platforms.
  • Prepare, process and enter complex multi-line supplier invoices.
  • Post multi-currency invoices and payments.
  • Assist with month end process.
  • Support Accounts Receivable

  • Numeracy: Good with numbers, able to manage financial data
  • Accuracy and attention to detail: Strong focus on correct data, identifying and investigating errors.
  • IT skills: Ability to use spreadsheets and finance software
  • Integrity and confidentiality: Honest and protecting business and personal information
