At Fishpools, we’re committed to giving back to the people who live and work where we do. Over the past few years, we’ve proudly supported the charities, Isabel Hospice, Teens Unite and Young Furniture Makers.

After a successful year of fundraising, we thought we would round up of the team’s dedication and hard work.

We raised an amazing £500 that we donated to the charity. We got into the Christmas spirit by donating Christmas decorations to the Hospice which added a festive touch.

Save The Children

Save The Children stand side by side with children in the toughest places to be a child. We do whatever it takes to make sure they survive, get protection when they’re in danger, and have the chance to learn.

The Fishpools team donated money to wear their chosen Christmas jumper, they raised an amazing £200 which was donated to them just in time for Christmas.

Teens Unite

Teens Unite Support young people from 13-24 who are diagnosed with Cancer. They support young people undergoing treatment who rapidly become isolated and alone and give them hope and aspiration for the future.

The Fishpools team raised an incredible £500 which we donated to Teens Unite earlier in the year.

We also took part in ‘It’s a knockout’– The Fishpools team had a great day out team building and raising money all at the same time! It was a successful day which enabled the team to raise an amazing £400.

Young Furniture Makers

Final-3-2-759x500

Young Furniture Makers was set up  100 years ago to help people from the furnishing industry at times of hardship and difficulty. They also encourage new talent with their extensive education programme.

For the Young Furniture Makers Charity, we chose two students from London Metropolitan University, Moe Redish & Abbie Tipler and provided bursaries towards their studies in Furniture and Design. We were pleased to head over to ‘The Cass 2018’ Summer Show to see their final projects.

You can read more about them and their amazing work here.
