Think of this trend and tones of rich red, maple and toast come to mind.

It’s the time of year for nesting, snuggling up and feeling relaxed at home. This key trend is about rich inviting colours, indulgent textures and revisiting the kitchen for warm flavours. Everyone ‘falls’ to their autumn colours with reds and oranges at the forefront, and this year follows a similar trend with some punchy tones and pigments to mix it up.

pantone red pear

One of Pantone’s fall colour palette, Red Pear is “a deliciously deep red, whose luscious depth entices.” This tone was all over the autumn winter catwalks and will bring a statement to your home too.

When looking for a rich red, consider the fabric of the piece. The finish of fabric will have a big impact on how much the pigment ‘pops’. Velvets and leathers will always enhance the richness of a colour as they reflect more light, like the Rosso sofa here. To further enhance a dark red pigment, contrast with light accessories in complimenting colours like these soft greys in our Twilight rug.

Occasional chairs can really lift a tired or neutral coloured interior. This rusty orange is the ultimate colour in this Fall key trend. With its velvet fabric and either antique or pewter studs, this accessory adds both decadence and comfort.

Fading world generation rug

We think this mango brown rug is a perfect way to bring the fall trend into your home. It’s pattern and colour fade will bring a subtle warmth into your living room or bedroom, couple it with either soft natural tones like above or build up your autumn palette with more rich reds and oranges.
