Fishpools seasonal brochure shoots are some of the busiest days in our calendar. We pulled together heads from across the business to create a day filled with exciting looks. Our autumn shoot took place in a dazzling home set in Hertfordshire, with stunning high ceilings and brilliant open light spaces, it was an ideal set-up to showcase our favourite collections.

Dark and heavy tropical and floral patterns will be everywhere this Autumn/Winter. Keep it simple when matching furniture & accessories and opt for simple blocks of muted colour to enhance your feature patterns.

Gold already featured in Spring/Summer 2018 trends but it’s not going anywhere! Keep the look fresh and updated by complimenting with dark warm tones to help your gold accents really pop.

In a recent Instagram poll we asked which colour you think will be hot this Autumn; Burnt Orange or Ruby Red? The votes came in at 50/50 and you couldn’t have been more right. This Autumn is about rich pigments overall, think about the colour of timeless vintage jewels, sapphire, emerald, amber & ruby. However, you’ll see this trend going really bold, with dark pigments painted on walls and even ceilings. It’s certainly not for the fainthearted, so why not think about edging in with rugs, sofas or accessories first to test the waters?

Monochrome, especially big blocks of black feature heavily this season. If you’re not a huge fan of big bright colours, you’ll be pleased to hear this news. Mix your monochrome with metals, both matte and reflective for extra depth.

2Layering textures will keep you feeling warm and cosy whatever your colour scheme.  Don’t be afraid to really mix it up and experiment, the cooler months are much more forgiving on busier looks.

Keep an eye out for the Autumn brochure on your doorstep, in store and online in the coming weeks. Why not give us a follow over on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and keep up to date with everything Fishpools.
