Over the last month or so we’ve been exploring some of our favourite seasonal colour palettes, from Green & White to Red & Grey. This week it’s the turn of Silver, Teal & Purple.

Whilst not the most traditional of Christmas colours, the addition of teal and purple accents to a festive silver décor scheme can make a real impact. Moderation is key; be aware that both shades are gorgeously rich so in this instance a little will go a long way.

Teal & Purple

Add small flashes of colour throughout the house: on the ribbon to hang the mistletoe, on vintage-style baubles or even woven into your wreath using berries and flowers.

Candles are a perfect way to add an accent to your table and will appear wonderfully regal when placed in silver holders down the centre of the table. Your napkins, place card holders and crackers can also be used to bolster your scheme beautifully.

Don’t be afraid to play around with different shades, as introducing a variety of hues will bring depth to your look and prevent it from appearing flat. A mixture of textures, including shiny and matte finishes, will add a subtle contrast and help to create a space that’s visually exciting.
