At the beginning of November, we picked out three of our favourite Christmas colour palettes to get you in the festive spirit. It’s now time to delve into these a little further and show you how you can bring each fabulous hue into your home this season.

First on our agenda is Green and White. Perfect for those who love a Scandi-vibe, this look is all about bringing the outdoors in and it’s super-easy to re-create. Evergreen foliage such as holly, mistletoe, ivy and various types of pine will form the foundation of your décor scheme so gather as much as you can, either from your own garden or from a local florist or garden centre.Green

Depending on your crafting skills, your decorations can range from a traditional wreath to something as simple as a bunch of rosemary or pine tied with a white ribbon above a doorway or window. For maximum effect, always ensure that you temper rich greens with plenty of fresh whites. The contrast between the two will really make each colour pop.

When it comes to decorating your Christmas table, green foliage arranged down the centre will lend your feast an air of occasion without looking over-the-top. Intersperse this with white candles and freshly cut white roses for a cool and sophisticated look that’s sure to impress.
