We are an independent homewares company based in the heart of Waltham Cross. As the south east’s largest quality furniture store we have a huge range of stunning on-trend, quality products and over 120 years of experience and excellent customer service. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital & Marketing Manager to join us at this key stage in our online retail growth plan.

With substantial experience and wealth of knowledge, the ideal candidate must be hands on and ready to help grow the online arm of our retail business. You will be enthusiastic and have the ambition to succeed by delivering outstanding levels of productivity, efficiency, sales growth and profitability.


This role requires you to work 40 hours a week and offers a hybrid working arrangement of up to 2 days a week working from home. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract (with the potential of an extension/permanent role).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship of our digital performance partner (PPC & Paid Social), working together to ensure that we are meeting our commercial goals and strategy. This includes managing campaign budgets and targets, constantly driving ROI.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Act as a key contributor and subject matter expert on core business projects (Website development, Data Insights, Creative rebrand).
  • Review the competitor landscape to find marketing opportunities and ensure we’re playing to our strengths.
  • Work with our SEO agency to oversee and plan organic content across our website.
  • Work alongside our internal creative team to deploy successful email marketing campaigns and automation strategies.
  • Help create and manage the content program and strategy for organic social media.
  • Monitor web analytics and performance and provide recommendations of change.

Your skills, knowledge and experience

  • Previous experience of managing a performance agency or working within a digital agency.
  • A high level of organisational and planning skills to actively manage your own time and execute new strategies.
  • Analytical and inquisitive along with a proven commercial drive.
  • Excellent IT Skills and familiar with day-to-day digital tools such as GA4, Google Ads, Facebook Business manager and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Passionate about digital marketing.
  • Highly literate with excellent communication skills.
  • A true retailer at heart, with an excellent commercial understanding and a background in ecommerce (home preferable).
  • Experience within the creative sector is desirable, but not essential.

Excellent remuneration package £40-45K+ per annum.
